Sr. Instructional Designer
The Worldwide Customer Service Associate Technology and Innovation Learning team is looking for a Sr.
Instructional Designer (Program Manager) to create high quality and impactful learning experiences for Customer Service (CS) Team Managers.
This role will develop learning content using an array of creative approaches that help Team Managers know how to effectively support and our diverse CSA population globally.
This role will develop learning content that spans across CS businesses globally and must consider a global audience in the design of all learning programs.
We are looking for a designer that can innovate, move quickly, insist on highest standards, and not be constrained by how Amazon has developed learning content in the past.
This designer will have the ability to manage multiple concurrent and interdependent projects and experience working cross-functionally with global stakeholders.
The role requires someone with the ability to speak to both CS operational processes as well as a general understanding of learning design theory.
Some of the key job functions:
Design innovative, engaging, and effective learning solutions to help Team Managers provide guidance and support to our CSAs Create a variety of learning assets (e-learning, classroom or virtual instructor-led activities, job aids, micro learning, facilitator guides, etc.
) Create and maintain long-term relationships with subject matter experts (SME) and operational leadership to support development of accurate and relevant content for global audiences on a variety of topics Experiment with new learning strategies, methods, and pilot programs Lead projects through the design lifecycle from planning, analysis, design, development and implementation to evaluation and maintenance of learning content.
Provide clear timelines through all phases, communicating with key partners, and selecting appropriate measurement for successful implementation Utilize PADDIE-M, SAM, Kirkpatrick and other recognized models to rapidly design, develop and publish engaging course content and learning activities eLearning, ILT (both in person and virtual), blended learning, job aids, performance support tools, etc.

Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
