20042-0 The position is located in Surgical Service Line at the Huntington VA Medical Center.
As the Surgical Service Program Support Assistant, the incumbent is responsible for a broad range of administrative and clerical duties associated within Surgical Service.
This will include split administrative duties associated with the Chief of Surgery, the Chief of the Audiology Section and the Health Systems Specialist.
This split position will also provide administrative and clerical support for the day-to-day operations of the general Audiology Clinic, the balance program, the cochlear implant program and audiology student trainee program as well as function as the Academic Coordination Liaison for the process and maintenance of New Employees, Surgery Residents, Orthopedic Residents, Family Practice Residents and Medical Students as well as existing employees.
The incumbent also acts as the administrative Primary PIV Sponsor for all providers, residents and medical students.
The position will serve as the ADPAC, process proficiencies and SF52's for Recruitment Request, and serves as backup to the Department Control Point Official to include all necessary supplies and equipment.
The duties and responsibilities of this position are carried out throughout the medical center including all administrative and patient care areas associated with the Surgical Service.

Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
