Route Sales Representative

You will have the freedom to run your route like it's your own business and use your discretion when making decisions on-site with the guidance of your District Service Manager.
You will visit 25 to 35 customers per day - businesses that range from small mom-and-pop shops and restaurants to major corporate locations and warehouses.
This is a commission based position with a guaranteed weekly minimum.
As you grow your route's value, your weekly commission increases! As added benefits, we also offer NUMEROUS bonuses, incentives, and awards to our Route Sales Representatives.
Candidates must have a good driving record.
Prior route sales experience is preferred, but we will train the right individual who has the desire to LEARN.

Work days for the position are Monday through Friday.
Additional responsibilities of the Route Sales Representative include:
oMeeting with decision makers at each location to establish and maintain strong working relationships oDropping off clean uniforms and facility service products and picking up soiled uniforms and facility service products to be cleaned oAnswering customer questions or concerns oSolving any customer issues oAssessing each customer locations' needs for opportunities to upsell oCollecting payment oBalancing cash and invoices at the end of each day oLoading and unloading your truck each day oMeeting with your District Service Manager at the end of each day to debrief and go over assignments and priorities oAssisting with other projects or tasks as assigned Job Requirements As a Route Sales Representative with UniFirst, you must be totally committed to superior customer service.

Additional requirements for the Route Sales Representative include:
oHigh school diploma required; some college or college degree a plus oMinimum 1 year customer service, sales and/or entrepreneurial experience required; previous route sales and/or delivery experience preferred oProficiency with computers, Microsoft Office Suite, CRM and handheld devices like TABLETS or SMARTPHONES oValid non-commercial driver's license and reliable transportation oAbility to pass a background check, MVR check and drug test oAbility to carry up to 80 pounds oBilingual skills preferred UniFirst Corporation is an EEO/Affirmative Action Employer M/F/D/V

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
