Maintenance Mechanic I - Facility Operations (Full Time)
Job Description Under the supervision of the Maintenance Manager or authorized designee, performs duties relevant to, but not limited to, the maintenance, replacement and repair of the water, steam, electric, air and gas systems in the Medical Center and other buildings owned by the Medical CenterDuties include, but not limited to, checking equipment and appliances, making minor repairs to motors and equipmentRequirementsEDUCATION:
High School or trade school graduate including course in shop mechanics, electricity, and plumbingSome knowledge of facility engineering desirable, but not required
Experience:
Four years' experience plumbing, electrical wiring and repair of all kinds of equipment preferredBoiler room experience preferredSKILLS:
Must be familiar with maintenance technique, fire and safety regulations and must be able to familiar with the workings and use of blue prints.
