Requirements Education Requirements:
High School Diploma/GED required.
In addition, must meet one of the following criteria:
Successful completion of a multi-skilled technician program which includes EKG, phlebotomy, and direct patient care.
Certification must be valid and current.
EKG and Phlebotomy training with patient experience in physician office/clinical setting.
Experience:
EKG and Phlebotomy training with patient experience in clinical setting preferred.
Certifications/Skills:
Verbal ability required to communicate with patients and understand instructions received from nursing staff; manual dexterity required to use hands easily and skillfully while aiding patients.
BLS required.
