Byrd Institute - RC1511 Job Description The Marshall Advanced Manufacturing Center (MAMC), formerly called RCBI, is accepting resumes for a Technical Trainer that will be based at MAMC-Huntington with additional duties at the Marshall Ohio Valley location in Point Pleasant.
Primary Duties:
Designing and providing customized training to meet industry demand; assisting with instruction of Advanced Manufacturing Program centered on the installation, inspection, and maintenance of equipment in a typical manufacturing environment; instructing students on a day-to-day basis; developing lessons plans; maintaining student attendance and test records; and maintaining equipment and inventory of supplies.
Working with the MAMC Industry Advisory Council to maintain industry standards and working with local and regional customizers to meet training needs and ensure the latest technologies are available.
Lead in maintaining a safe and clean facility, assuring all safety procedures are followed.
Travel will be required, and the candidate may split time at classroom locations within the service district.

Responsibilities:
Assisting with technical services and maintenance of MAMC equipment; assisting industrial sector to develop and enhance the regions' industrial capabilities, assisting with job placement and recruiting activities for program participants, and performing other duties as assigned.
Position Type:
Full-time, grant funded, exempt position.
Location OTHR - Other Off-Campus Location Salary Range Salary is commensurate with education and experience.
Highly qualified applicants may earn up to $65,000.
Required Qualifications Education High School Diploma Experience Must have a minimum of five years' work experience in a manufacturing field involving electrical, electronics, fluid power, motors, and control systems.
Must be proficient in diagnosis and troubleshooting of equipment and the have the ability to maintain equipment.
Strong oral and written skills combined with a team-player attitude are required.
Interested individuals must display self-initiative and the ability to work in a team environment.
Must be willing to travel statewide to conduct training and visit manufacturing companies to advise on MAMC service offerings.
May use a combination of education, certification, and years of experience to substitute for degrees and/or experience.
Preferred Qualifications Education Associate's Degree Experience Hands-on instruction or training experience is preferred.
Oversight and supervisory experience in a manufacturing environment is a plus.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
