53 or > Department Recruitment - MU2026 Job Description The Director of Recruitment provides expertise to develop, implement, and evaluate new student recruitment initiatives, including but not limited to the oversight of recruitment at high schools and college fairs and all on-campus recruitment events and activities.
Reporting to the Dean of Admissions and Associate Vice President of Enrollment, the Director provides support for meeting enrollment goals, by working with Enrollment Counselors to ensure students in West Virginia, Metro and targeted territories are given the opportunity to apply with an Enrollment Counselor from Marshall in his/her high school, ensuring Marshall University is represented at college fair events in targeted areas, and overseeing the implementation of all on-campus recruitment activities.
The position oversees all staff training related to these activities.
This position represents and promotes the university to prospective students at the high school and college levels, as well as other relevant professional organizations.
This position also oversees the development of the recruitment communication plan, including all printed recruitment materials, e-mails and call campaigns.
Description:
Promotes the University at on and off campus events Coordinates and hosts large (500+) on-campus recruitment events, such as Open House, admitted student receptions, and large group tours.
Develops communication plan, including e-mails, texts, call campaigns, and recruitment publications and displays related to recruiting activities.
Manages the development, review, and production schedule of all publications related to recruitment at Marshall University.
Coordinates outreach, including educational programs, application events and scholarship presentations.
Oversees and evaluates recruitment activities of recruitment staff in local and regional territories.
Engages with prospective students and parents/guardians to explain and advise them about the enrollment process.
Oversees the operations of the Recruiting staff (assistant director, four recruitment coordinators, and a special projects coordinator).
Monitors progress of recruiting activities throughout the recruitment cycle.
Advises Deans on resource needs and recruitment strategy recommendations.
Conducts research regarding best practices in recruitment to utilize resources.
Serves on various University committees.
Manages and approves travel and office expenses, in order to best optimize University funds.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
